Palo Verde Men's Golf Association - Palo Verde Men's Golf Association (PVMGA) has thrived for the past thirty years by cultivating a strong management team and by catering to the needs of its members.  The PVMGA is an extremely active golf association in the Sun Lakes Community with more than 280 members. It fosters community activities in the form of the South East Valley Home-and-Homes, Intra-Club, and Summer tournaments with Sunbird, Ironwood, Cottonwood, Oakwood, and Sun Lakes Country Club. Its annual Member/Guest Tournament is one of the best in the community. These events are strongly supported by our membership and are frequently oversubscribed; thus early sign-up is recommended.

The play day for our members is each Saturday, with a shotgun start in both the AM and PM. Our annual fee for membership in the association is currently $70.00 per year, $30.00 of which is paid to the Arizona Golf Association for maintaining our handicap system. In addition, a fee is collected each Saturday to cover prizes and scheduled luncheons. New members are always welcome and are invited to join us for the camaraderie and friendly atmosphere that is part of the PVMGA family. Addional information can be obtained by contacting Palo Verde Prof Shop at 480-895-0300.

Cottonwood Sunday Couples and Cottonwood and Palo Verde Twilight Couples

Cottonwood Couples host events every Sunday through out the year.  Couples are invited to sign up as a twosome or foursome on the Event Section of our Chelsea Reservation System. A list of games played is in our annual calendar.

Cottonwood Twilight Couples events are 9 holes of a scramble format. They will be four person teams and the Pro Shop will make the pairings. Twilight Couples do not use the Chelsea Reservation System as there will be a sign-up sheet in the Pro Shop each week.

Palo Verde Twilight Couples begins in May and runs through September. PV will also host another exciting Night Golf event at the end of September.

Both Sunday and Twilight Couples Events are an exciting way of meeting friends and developing new relationships.

Palo Verde Couples League

The Palo Verde Couples League meets every Friday for 18 holes of fun-filled golf.  We have year-round events and competitions including the Couples Club Championship, which is awarded to both gross and net.

The Palo Verde Couples League is the largest golf league in CottonVerde and it's a great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends.
