Bocce Ball

There are four Bocce Ball courts at Sisk Park in Palo Verde, with lighting for evening play.  You can sign up for membership at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Open House in the San Tan Ballroom, the Oakwood Open House or the annual Wine and Cheese Party in Sisk Park from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the last Sunday in October.  Oakwood and Ironwood residents may purchase their bocce ball recreation pass from Homeowner Services (formerly called the Resource Center) prior to signing up.

Upon completion of sign-ups, members will get team and schedule information, Bocce Ball Board member contact information, rules & regulations and combinations for the ball buckets and bathrooms emailed to them.   Each team schedules play dates and times, so you can play at your convenience - days, evenings or weekends.  The courts are on a first-come first-serve basis and cannot be reserved.

The cost is $20 per couple per season which includes 2 sessions of play and 2 end-of-session potluck and awards parties.

Bocce Ball Board members meet once a month.  An Annual Membership Meeting and election of new officers takes place at the second potluck and awards party at the end of the season.  The Bocce Ball membership takes the summer off but members may still use the courts.
