ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Rotary International was founded in 1905 in Chicago, IL by Paul Harris and three friends.  Today the organization has grown to 2.2 million members with clubs in 170 countries.

The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes was chartered April 22, 1986 with twenty members.  The club now has 100 plus members.  During the winter this grows to as many as 130 with our winter visitors.

The club supports both local and international projects.  Some of the local projects include:  support of youth education, homeless shelter, Neighbors Who Care, etc.  International projects include:  Polio Plus, Food for the Hungry, clean water wells and many more.  These are all supported by members’ contributions to the Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes meets each Tuesday in the San Tan Ballroom at 7:00 a.m.
